I'm not putting any money into the stereo right now. I'm going to save the money for quality equip. So, I've got BA 5.25" coax in the dash, and Audiobahn 6x9s in the sail panels. All this is running off the stock HU. I'd like to second order low-pass the 6x9s because I really hate the full spectrum from behind, and then either run the fronts full spectrum, or high pass them at the same freq, but I don't know where to cut things off. Any help is appretiated.

I have the cutoff between my seperates in the kickpanels and my midbasses in my doors at around 150 HZ. It keeps the highs out of my doors and keeps my imaging in check by not having the doors pull the image out of whack. probably around 200HZ would work for you.

600 might be better. It all depends on what you want them used for. If you want some midrange go 600. if you just want midbass go 200 or lower. Hopefully we can get some other suggestions rolling in here for you.

Thanks for the suggestions, I was thinking much higher than that 1800-3000, but I really just want the 6x9s to give whatever non-directional bass they can.

Dan - off to the shack for some caps and coils
