can Polk Momo handle 600w RMS?

i'm getting a Polk Momo 12"...500w RMS. I have a Profile Clarus 200wx2 - 600wx1 bridged. i know this isn't gonna shoot 600ws continuous to the sub, but will it hold? am i gonna blow it out within a year?

ya profiles are rated at 14.4v so 600wx1 is at 14.4v, most of the time your amps gonna see bout 12.8v - 13.8v and at that level your prolly pushing bout 450w, so I wouldn't worry bout it. also I've never had a big problem w/ running more watts to subs(well within reason) as long as you don't have distortion.

yea it will handle it no problem,
my friend had a single 10 momo in his extreme s-10,ran a phoenix gold, the real good ones, anyways 600x1 @4ohms,he ran that to it for a good 4-5 months, cranked as loud as it would go,let me tell you, this sub thumped with this amp, finally ended up blowing it up,so the moral is,dont play it full blast, exspecailly with the amp you have, and his amp,is way underated, and thumped it really good, his one 10,sounded as good as my 2 kappa perfect 10's in my camaro, not to mention made things vibrate in the house.....
gl with ur install.

i've had no trouble with my Profile... it ran 2-200w Xtants for a while and it shook the license plate, the gas cap, the rearview and the tail lenses, adn they shook my mom's window ornaments when it was parked outside. they hit extremely hard as well...i'm a fan of the clarus but people can do what they want to.
