Muscian looking to build a system

I am thinking of running 2 idq 12's for bas off of a jbl 1200.1 now i am wondering what is the best setup for the front soundstage in our cars, i want one to blow me away. I am considering a 4 inch component set, 6.5 component set also.

Go with either a 2-way or 3-way component set up front. For a 2-way, look into Rezn8r's kicks. For a 3-way setup, I really like the way I have mine in my monte carlo. Put the 6.5" in the doors, 4" in kicks and tweets in the a-pillars. You can eliminate that 'rainbow' effect of the soundstage when moving the tweets to the a-pillars. But, if you go a-pillar tweets then your mid has to play to at least 4.5k-5kHz. Any lower than that and your tweets will start fighting with the mid on creating the image and the image will be going up and down depending on freq.
