hi guys,
does any one have 4 10" kappa perfects in there car? or have ever heard them?im thinking of doing this,as i already have 2 in there,might as well just buy two more,and another amp like mine,and see what happens?what do you guys think?

have you ever thought about 3 12's instead. ? just wondering, also how hard are you hitting now? have you had it metered?

4 10"s would be louder than 3 12"s. As for your choice of subs, I could not of thought of a better choice myself.

i have two 12" kappas now, and dam they hit. actually a guy from 3 houses down the block came to me today while i was tunning the system in my driveway and asked me to turn it down. he said the windows in his house are rattling. if you get 4 10s in there im sure it going to be loud. go for it. what amp you plan on powering it with?

 

hey 92 z28, are yours the kappa or the perfect 12", and also what amp do you have pushing them, and about how many watts RMS running to each sub. thanks

they are i believe the 2001 model kappas.the green ones. i dont know if 2001 had PERFECTS out. its hot because it matches my car color (teal).. the amp i have is a power acoustik g1800-2. that amp is 1800 watts, or 900 watts each channel. the amp does 420 watts rms each channel. i know your thinking power acoustik isnt the greatest, but i also thought the same, so i had a jl audio 500/1 amp in stock which im selling to my friend, so we recently tested that amp with my subs and as i figured there was no sound difference. maybe the jl was the slightest bit clearer, i mean really slightly, but besides that the power acoustik amp delivers some serious power... if you got anymore questions just ask...

 

yea i think they would slam pretty good myself,i would have to buy that 4 10"s box,i have a kappa 202a amp,200x1 @ 4 ohms,or 300x2 @ 2 ohms,and 600x1 @ 4 ohms,its a pretty nice amp,pushes my subs pretty good,im never had it checked,but i know it hits pretty damn good,i just wanted to be able to wake the neighbors 150 yards away,lol,i thought about 3 12's,but im already half way there,and kappa perfect subs,are some of the best sounding,hardest hitting subs,i have ever heard,not the best,but WOW,and i could only imagine my system "times" 2....it vibrates my license plate,and body panels now,lol,im doing it,cant wait....
