Sony CDX-M730, yeah I know! but help!!
yeah, yeah, I know they are suppose to suck but I didnt star reading this until after I bought...got it cheap anyways. But do they have a lock code on them? if so does anyone now what it is? or did the precvious owner set it?
When I hooked it up and turn the key on the it opened fine but when I shut the car off it beeps like 3 or 4 times then quits. When I turn the car back on and hit the open button it beeps again like 3 or 4 times but wont open...does it have some type of memory that save the code from the past owner if that is what it is?
Heck I dont know, I didnt get a manual with it...HELP!!!!

I figured it out....it was a screw I had in the DIN cage that was keeping it from opening....

The beeping after you shut the ignition off is usally the alarm to alert you to remove the face plate.
