it's definitely a nice sub, the led's look killer when the sub's moving. looks great if you pair it with an amp that has a blue status led or something like that.

i have an alpine mrd-300 600w max, but im gonna be upgrading ASAP cause i need about 700 more RMS watts, but i know that it will be louder cause i had a single 10 before and it didnt like that much power so. but the reason i mentioned that amp is because it has a blue status LED

Just make sure that you have a crapload of power to push it. Those mega high-excursion 500lb subs are extremely inefficient and require a ton of power to get high SPLs out of them. But as long as you've got the power, you should be pretty happy.

YEAH!!!!!

And make sure you have a crapload of HP to haul that damn thing. Looks like it weighs +100 lbs.

I imagine some coil spring boosters may be in order to.

actually, I am strongly considering installing a system with 2...possibly 3 of them this spring. They will handle 1200 watts rms!!! They have a 235 oz magnet for crying out loud. That is amazing! What is really amazing is that you can put them in as sealed enclosure of 1 ft^3. I think I will be going with the ported enclosure though. I think these are probably the best subs I have ever seen, as far as specifications.
