I'm wanting to mount a 10" subwoofer, a JL W7
. I'm wanting to put it into the spare tire compartment . What will i need for mounting and everything. any help would be greatly appreciated

Do a search for rezn8r and boxes, i think he's currently working on a box to put in the spare tire compartment. That would get you well on your way

its not going to be that easy. i have read the the w7 are somewhat box sensitive and you will have to make the box out of some very sturdy materials because that sub produces some serious spl. it also has a pretty deep magnet so you might want to check that out as well. djsexy had a w7 there for his car and he might be able to give you some advise. good luck
I'm wanting to put it into the spare tire compartment because I use my trunk daily, and I don't want to risk it getting in the way of my t-tops at all. I want it to look as original as possible. Sorry about that, typo, wasn't W7, it was a W6,

um... yeah i never thought of the t-tops getting in the way business. Any ideas as to how to avoid this problem?? mayb elower the box would work.. i guess.
