Neat Idea for component speakers
So i was browsing through the cars on sounddomain and came across this. This is a really neat idea, especially if you want component speakers, but aren't to fond of kick panels. Doesn't look like something that one person could mass produce unfortunately (not the way he did it anyway). If you wanna see how he did it and more pictures of it go here.
The only thing he didn't really go into was how he ran the speaker wire into the doors. That must be a b*tch to do.
I kinda like em, how bout everyone else????

i have seen that guys car before. i personally think thats alittle overkill. i also think the tweeters should be up higher. i put mine on those panels between the windshield and door windows. i can actually hear my highs and sounds good.

I'd need to hear it before I made a final judgement, but I would be VERY VERY surprised if that thing imaged better than a pair of krako speakers with a chrome whizzer cone. The dual drivers on each side is going to diffuse the sound from each side, and they sit so far back that you're going to wind up with a "headphone" effect. I would MUCH rather have kick panels.
