air space

air space

i was wondering how much space i should have for my subs? i have 1.13 cubic inches and i ahev type -r 12" subs. is this to much or too little. the 1.13 cubic inches is for each sub.

0.7 - 1.0 cu. ft. is the rated volume for a sealed enclosure. But I think that 1.13 ft^3 should be fine. Its not that far off 1 cu. ft.
