CD Changer Question

Hey, i've been a member here for a while, just never get a chance to post because i'm always at work or college....

I have an 83 Z28....but my question today is about the CD Changer in a 96 Camaro i recently purchased.

When I turn my key on, the changer is getting power, because you can hear it load....however, the little remote doesnt have a display on it, and none of my cd's will play.

It's just a little Sony 10 disc changer, and a factory tape deck, I've checked the fuses and none seem blown.......If you guys have any ideas what it could be, let me know.

Thanks,
Dave

My friend has a Sony cahnger in his truck as well, if i remember correctly, to use it i think he had to hit a power button located somewhere on that display panel remote. I hope that helps, i'll talk to him a little later and see if he has any ideas.

Why doesn’t anyone put the model number in when asking about a particular unit? Give me the model number and I may be able to give you more info. Some of the Sony’s had a weird problem, but the list of models is to long to list.
