Wiring

Ok, first off, I tried a search and didn't find what I needed. I recently got an Alpine CDM7857. I know a harness would make things easier, however the previous owner disagreed. That's right, I took over some hack job.

Anyhow, have to do it the old fashioned way and was wondering what the wiring is on the car side. The wires on the HU are labelled and have no trouble finding what those ones are. But they don't match the wires on the car side. I figured out the speaker wires but I need to know what the other wires are before I start tearing this up. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

This is for my '89 RS.

Cool, was starting to wonder if anyone was going to help with close to 20 views. I couldn't find the wiring diagram in the Chilton's.

Anyhow, the pic is a little fuzzy. On the wires from the top going down I can read Yellow (can't tell what it goes to), Orange (can't tell where this goes either), Pink for the Power Antenna, don't know the color wire for the Interior Lights, or the color for the Interior Light system right below it either.

I was looking around on the net and I suppose Red is Power, Black is Ground, and Ignition is Yellow. If I am wrong let me know. I have some time before I attempt this (for the first time without an adapter) as I still have to get the soldering stuff and heat shrink and all that good stuff.
