Car: '89 RS Convertible
Engine: 355
Transmission: 700R4
What size speakers do we have...
up in the dash, and in the rear sail panels of a convertible? 4 x 6 up front and 6 x 9 in the back? Not sure...I want to buy the right size before I open everything up.

In a convertible... the rear speakers are different. It is a round speaker.... either a 5.25" or a 6.5" round speaker, I can't remember which. The non-convertible firebirds and camaro have 6x9's in the back. The fronts are the same.... 4x6.

Thanks for the input...guess I'll stash the crowbar for another day
Anybody more sure on those rears? I'm hoping to do the dash pad, sun visors, steering wheel, seats, carpet, and all 4 speakers in 1 day (yeah, right....dream on...things never go as easily as planned)
