Hey guys, I recently installed a single 12" pioneer sub and amp in my camaro and I can't get my power wire to wire up. So I bought this side mount to bolt converter. See I thought that all you do is unscrew the screw on the positive battery cable and and put this bolt in. But that damn screw on my battery cable is NOT coming out! How the hell do you get it out? It doesn't look like it can just unscrew out. So how did some of you do it? Thanks if you can help!

believe me it will come out eventually...try not to do it in the cold weather or put it in a heated garage for a few minutes...but be aware most battery screws arent long enough to attach amp wires there for you will need to spend a couple bucks if even to get a longer battery screw but u will need to cut that one down probably so its not too loose

Cool thanks for your help! But how does the screw come out of the battery cable? Do you twist is out? Or do you hammer it out? Or just pull on it till it pops out then replace with the adaptor screw? Please help! I want to get this done! Eric

mine unscrews, make sure you are doing it the right way. Might be carroded (sp?), there is a trick with water and baking soda (mabey baking powder) to get the carrosion off.

i also had a hard time getting mine out but it will come out....i replaced mine with the... gm moster cable battery screw...? but anyway, it was way too long so i used a dremel tool to cut it down...works perfectly just make sure you dont cut too much off that it wont even screw

monster cable makes too versions one long and one short. To get the bolt out of the cable take a flat head screw driver (with the cable loose!) and work it around the bolt pulling the plastic back from the bolt as you go.
