ok...i have the panasonic touch screen ghost face cd player...i hate it..the remote sucks and the screen is all messed up..long story..anyways..my friend offered to trade his sony 45*4 deck with a sweet equalizer for my cd player..should i do it??? mine is panasonic MOSFET 50*4 and his is a sony 45*4..will there be a difference in quality...i have kenwood xcelons around the car..and a jlw8..and a fosgate 800 watt amp powering speakers and sub....he needs to know by tomorrow..any help would be awesome..thanks:hail:

 

yes the sony are crap. the pannisonic has a really good signal to distortion ratio. sorry to here you are having problems with it. did you buy it when it first came out? because the very first run of them are having problems, but they have been worked out. i have a pannisonic df88 ecu and have had it for 3 years, and never had a problem with it, it is also a lot better than most of the other junk that you can buy nowdays.

point of the story, stay away from the explodes. the only sonys that are any good are the supper high end ones, like the hard drive one, or the one with the super high resolution color screen.

yea..i bought it when it first came out..ive had nothing but problems...i bought it off ebay..no warrantee...i dont know what to do...IF i ever swapped..would there be much of a difference..if i had an eq with the sony?

 

alot of the x plodes have eq's. yes your sound quallity would degrade and your cd's would skip. not to metion the scratches that the ejection mechanism leaves on them.

i would find something else. or call pannisonic to see how much they would repair it for.

just to put in my two cents.. hell no. a broken panasonic is still worth more than a brand new sony.
