I was looking at this awesome alpine... http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S...DA7995&o=m&a=1 and i was wondering why there is no internal amp...i have a component amp hooked up to my speakers and current cd player...will i get crappier sound quality without an internal amp??..thanks

yea if you get a cd player with a an amp built-in than that is suppose to run the "stock" or replacment speakers if you have an amp running them already it doesn't matter.

the reason why companies dont put internal amps in is becuase people with higher end decks tend to amp their speakers with a normal exterior amp. it is supposed to be a cleaner signal, but its debatable (i'm a Richard Clark follower....
