amp mounting

i was wondering where to mount an amp in my car. im just running it to the rear 6x9's for now. i need the trunk space and want a bit better sound so im running a 150 watt amp to them. i was wondering where the best place to mount it would be. i was thinking just bolt it to the hump behind the rear seat. any suggestions?

uh yeah i wouldn't do that. :nono: the gas tank is right behind there, so you don't wanna get anywhere near it for obvious reasons. you could mount it to the back seat or even in the locking storage compartment.

check this out, or i'm sure someone that's mounted to the back seat will tell you how to do it
