Hooking up subs
My car came with the Performance sound option where in the sail panels came a 4x6 and a 5"mini sub. I recently put in 6x9's and was wondering if i could use the wires from the mini sub to hook up my sub woofer? I have 2 SPL 10'' subs with a 760watt sony amp. Will it work or will i need another way to hook them up? Any info would be appretiated! Thanks in advance.

It will probably work... but do yourself (and your ears for that matter) a favor and upgrade your wires. After about 10 years most speaker wire starts corroding (sp?) and your sound quality is greatly reduced. Upgrading your wiring just takes a little free time, its not hard at all. The easiest way is to run the wires from the deck under the dash (run through the fuse area for drivers side, just detach the panel with a star screwdriver) and ( for the pass. side just run it through the ecm (computer) compartment, again 3 phillips head screws to remove the panel). Next just run it under the door trim, easy easy stuff. And just behind the plastic trim till you get to the desired location. Good Luck.
