WOW... JL 12W3's ROCK

Well, I just got my system installed and all i have to say is WWWOOOOWWWW...... Here are the specs:

HU- Kenwood 569 CD/MP3 player
Front- Diamond Audio 5 1/4 components in Q-logic kicks
Rear- MB Quart DTC 6x9's
Sub- JL 12W3 in a sealed box (~.7 cu ft)
Speaker Amp- Kicker 600.4 150X4
Sub Amp- JL 250.1 Mono
Wiring- Phoenix Gold

I am just so happy with how it turned out.

nice lookin system. i really gotta get me one of those locking rear shelfs. would make the system much more stealth

Yeah the shelf is nice but it rattles like all hell... I think i will try and get a sunshade instead. Maybe that wont rattle as bad and will keep prying eyes out.

Looks nice! Just make a cover out of grill cloth, it's not that hard. The cloth is about $4/spool at radio shack. Just takes a few scrap peices of wood. I would really recommend something that is acoustically transparent.

I made a similar setup for my gf's firebird, cept I mounted the amps on each side of the sub. They are the chrome ppi's. The wire's do show for about 4inchs though. Her t-top bag covers them up enough that I didn't need to put anything in to conceal it.
