Not third gen related, but need help

Where can I find plans or instructions on building a behind the seat sub box for a 1991 chevy regular cab silverado? I have searched google, and I have not been able to find any plans, but I have seen several setups in pictures at cardomain.com. Any suggestions?

there arent really any set plans, most people just use some math and do what they can with the airspace and their abilities. good luck.

There's someone on ebay selling 3/4" MDF enclosures for all sorts of cars and trucks for like $125. I think they had chevy trucks when I looked. At the very list you could see the pic of it and ask about the dimensions, you just don't have to tell them that you are going to build one identical to it.

Eh man, you don't need plans....
A tape measure and calculator is all you need. Measure the dimensions you have behind the seats, & bust out your skills you learned from geometry class to find the volume. Find out what subs work well with close to that volume, and then fill the box with stuffing. You can get the stuffing cheap from sewing stores.
Stuffing will dampen enough to make the box seem alot larger to the sub!

Here is a box i made for my chevy truck, It was made for 2 12" rockford XLC's, I made this box 2 years ago so I'm working from memmory, might want to doulble check my messurements. They worked good, but I had to move the seat to far forward in order for the box to fit, And I'm tall so that only lasted about 6 months, Than I made a new box and put the box on the center hump between the dash and the seat. Now I can sit all the way back.
