closing the security hatch with subs in it?
Hey everyone,
I was wondering if it would be possible to put subs down into the well far enough so I could close the security door thingy and lock it when I go somewhere? I am thinking about getting 2 10" audiobahn 900 watt rms or 2 infinity 12" refrence 300 watt rms... what u think? would the infinity be enough? would the audiobahn be overkill? do you think my idea will work? anyone done this and have pics?
THANKS,
TOM

what security door are you talking about? the one that makes the shelf extend all the way to the back of the car? if so, it'll fit fine. the bottom of the well has something like 1.3x cu/ft. So you could use 1 12"-1.25cu/ft sub, and move it to the side and put the amp on top of the box, then close the security door.

I have heard from people that have the security door (I don't have one myself) that it rattles like no tomorrow. There are ways to dampen it, but I don't know if you would be able to completely stop any rattles.
