sterio is on crack

i have a cheap cd player in my car and it seems to be on crack.

a lot of the time if i accelerate or turn a corner really hard it cuts out.

like it isn't reading the disk or something. the disk spins, and the player makes a noise, but it won't play untill the "g-forces" stop.

but the kicker is that the radio works just fine, acceleration, corners, no matter what, it works just fine

wtf is going on?

thanks guys

Sorry man but if it's cheap it's not worth fix'n. It's probably the optical pickup.

I had a $50 koss cd player in my first car and it did something similar to what you're describing. You can try getting a can of compressed air and blowing out the cd area. Then run a cleaning disc in it. That seemed to do it for me and it worked fine until I got rid of the car.
