Lookin for pix of boxes in the lower part of the hatch

Hey everyone,
Im thinkin about gettin rid of my tube and gettin a sealed box that sits in the lower well of the hatch. The reason i dont want to get a full hatch box is i need somewhere to put my t tops and other small things also the added weight.I have a couple of questions about it if some of you guys can answer for me.

1 How hard is it to make these boxes.

2 what would be better a 10 or 12 in speaker since im only going to use one.

3 whats the sound quality of this type of box.

4 what do you guys think of this style box.

5 Does anyone have dimensions i could use for this style box.

6 If you have pixs would you post them.

thanks
Anth

here's a pic of my box. have a lot of pics of it being made in the link in my sig. most of the dimensions were originally take from a dual 12" box schematic that is always floating around this site. i then made the necessary changes to it to allow more room inside and allow the sub to fit (12" alpine type-r).

1. a little difficult, because there are quite a few sides, but nothing a weekend cant handle.

2. 12" would be louder and a good one will sound very nice.

3. its a sealed box, so not boomy and very clear/clean

4. I like it, little space used, takes care of my need for bass

5. I have yet to get dimensions even though everyone asks me (never home long enough to grab them)

6.

i used 3/4" mdf (best choice for sub boxes). can be found at lowes or home depot no problem. i did not use up all the space i had, so my box is a little bit on the small side. however, it sounds just fine to me.
