Sub/ amp locations...
Sub/ amp locations...
I have seen hundreds of pictures of systems on this board with the subs in the well and the amps right behind them.
Does anyone have a different setup such as the subs in the well and an amp rack where the rear seats should be? I was thinkin of making a slanted rack for the amps in palce of the rear seats, but i wanted to get some ideas first.
Any pics would be appreciated.

I used to have two amps mounted in the well which is why I have that splitter block, I just never removed it. Now I only have one as you can see. I just stood the amp(s) up against the wall and screwed them into the carpet with short screws. The screws wrap around the carpet and hold plenty tight. I only screwed in the top holes and the bottom just rests on the floor. I then used my homemade sub board. Never had a problem and used it like this for over 10 years. When I had two amps they were right next to each other and I hid the rca and speaker wires to the main speakers behind the amps. The wires ran through a small hole I made in the bottom side of the carpet. It looked pretty good, too bad I don't have any pictures of the old setup.
Looks like Bellmore train station will be on again though Saturdays this time, or so I've heard. I live right near there so myabe I'll see your car there sometime.

Here's the sub board. I forgot to mention also that the cd changer in the pic above is on a seperate board. I made the board the size of the floor for a perfect fit, covered it with carpet, and screwed the changer to that. The board fits just under the amp. I can easily unplug the changer and just lift the carpeted board out, changer and all.
Wow, i hope they bring back the gatherings by Bellmore....
