Car: 1987 Black IROC-Z (SOLD)

The Mast just unscrew it. Now the base you will need to remove the inner fender guard to reach the Base mounting hardware. Not a five minute job. Good luck

Invest in a special Snap-On socket for the antenna, if you use a needle nose or pliers you will wind up scratching the paint.
