few amp qustions
1) ok first how do u wire up a second amp...........like how do i put a second power wire.............do i run a second one from the battery or do could i splice a second one into the existing power wire near the back of the car.
2) i did try to wire a second amp...........i spliced in the power wire from the already in use power wire right in the back so i didnt have to do any wiring or anything and i ran the rca cables on the other side of the car along with the front speaker wires. i put the ground wire to the same spot where the other amp for the subs is. ok so everything was hooked up correct and when i turned it on and no musik was playing i hurd a fuzzy noise it was not that loud though but when i like changed a song it would make weird beep noises. when the car was on i could hear my altinator threw the speakers and when i poped the trunk i could here that motor threw the speakers to. what could be the problem?

Well to wire up two amps you would need a distribution block. That will take in one power line from the battery and split it into two power wires. The reason you're hearing the alternator thru your speakers is because the power and RCA cables are run too close together, run them on oppossite sides of the car and that should take care of your problem.

the 800 watt amp has a 20 fuse and the 400 has a 10 and i belve the wire is an 8 gauge
right now the 400 is disconnected cause it didnt sound to good with all those bleeps and engine noise comin out of the speakers lol
o yeah and one other thing after i did that and disconected the 400 watt i left the wire spliced in because i sodered it together but now everytime my volume goes up and the bass getes harder my amp fuse for the subs the 800 watt amp blows and it doesnt work what could be the problem.......i was thinking mabey because right where the wire connects to the amp is geting a little messy because its at a right angle and i didnt crimp it to good so i think the wires r breaking a little

Okay... glad I asked you for the fuse ratings.
Those amps aren't 400 and 800 watts... probably more like 100 watts and 200 watts. Anyway, your 8 gauge wire should be fine for 30 amps. Make sure you also have a fuse near the front of the car on the 8 gauge wire, 18 inches or closer to the battery.
