Single Sub Enclosure Plans

I am trying to figure out how to build a single 12' sub box for my rear well of my Trans Am. I'd like to be able to mount the amp on it. If anybody is willing to share their plans or has ideas, or comments, I would appreciate it. I am new to this so please inform me.

Thanks:rockon:

I don't see how I would accomplish that...be kinda difficult to mount the amp on top of the actual sub...plus you can't show off your sub...its an idea...rather have the amp to the side of the sub though...Thanks

you would build a rack that would screw to the top/sides of the box, after the sub was in the box.

i think it would do wonders for keeping the amp cool, in a high powered application.

my he2's move an amazing amount of air.

If that actually worked wouldn't tons of people be doing it You need air to move over the heat sinks on the top, not pounding against the bottom.

Jose, there are a ton of posts on box building and box plans. If you've never done this before, you may want to take a look at rezn8rs sub plan package. I don't remember right off hand how much it is, but it has everything you need but the MDF. www.subenclosures.com As far as attaching the amp to the box, just screw it on to the top of the box.
