Curious if anyone has built a single woofer box for the rear hatch well, and how many CF can you get out of it?
I'm hoping to get around 1.5 CF with a depth of at least 16 inches down, so I can run a port, and tune my woofer to 35 HZ.
Anyone have an idea on the available CF? Looks like a measurement hell, so I was curious if anyone already has the information.
Thanks!

You should beable to get 1.5 cu ft out of the well alone. I'm getting 1.6 and the blox is only 14" high
Sweet, thanks for the info.
Do you happen to have your box's specs anywhere handy?

My box is a little over a cube and a half, doesn't even come all the way up to the bottom of the hatch pull-down motor, and has about 6"clearance to one side. Wedge-shaped box,
W1- 14.75", W2- 10.75, H- 11.75", L-22.75" I had to cut part of the mount the hatch motor is bolted to to get it to fit (the guy who built my box makes an awesome-sounding enclosure, but is a total retard when it comes to math.)

That sounds like kind of a paradox since there's a ton of math involved in getting the airspace right.Originally posted by Ragnarok_Tyr

Anyway... You can definently get 1 cu. ft. in the well area. My enclosure comes up to the top of the gas tank (behind the rear seats) and I have around 1.5 cu. ft. all together. If you use fiberglass you can get the same amount of airspace with less height since the well area is curved in several places making it impossible to get an MDF box to take up every cubic inch.
