If the amp works its probably an alright deal. I didn't know they made older amps, I know they have recently come out with some though. Make sure it works first if you decide to purchase. Boston makes some amazing speakers though, which is what I am running and would recommend them to anyone.

As for the JBL, if it works, then that might be a good deal too. They newer JBL stuff is great for the bang for the buck. Again, make sure it works if you decide to purchase.

Do you have any of the model numbers for these? That would help. Good luck.

Hey thanks for the info. Well I went ahead and bought them both for $100. He tested both for me and they both work fine. The amp is a Power Acoustik USA Sterling Series CH20-400w amp (Serial No. J8000966). Sorry I thought it was Boston. And the 12" sub just says JBL in a black dot in the middle. There's an exclamation point over the J if that helps any lol. So what do ya think?

Power acoustik and boston acoustic are two very different things. He probably didn't pay more than $50 for the amp new if it's power acoustik.
Here's a power acoustik "520 watt" amp for $69.99
