Midbass Question
Heres the question.
I just got a set of kicker 8" midbass speaker.I have the speakers crossed at 80 from the deck.What do i use to get rid of the highs in the midbass.

You need to bandpass them. I assume the deck is high passing at 80Hz since you still have highs coming thru. You can install a low pass passive crossover above the 80Hz crossover point to create the bandpass. Easy to make, progressively harder the higher the order crossover you go.

Are you running any type of bass blockers on the 4x6s? I would suggest maybe 250Hz and experiment from there to see what sounds best to you. I wouldn't normally cross the 8s so high, but a 4x6 wont put out too much mid and thats you next size down speaker.

Thanks for the compliment,I still have alot of work let to do to it.hopfully ill have everything done by the end of next year.
