Tach Wire interference!!!!
Tach Wire interference!!!!
i have an 86 trans am with a kenwood deck and a fosgate amp with two he2's, two capacitors( one with digital volt read out), and a cd changer
before i installed a new distributor cap and rotor everything was fine...but now that i've done that....there is a buzzing in the front speakers mainly.....when there is no music playing but with the car on and the radio on( like between tracks ) and the digital read out on the capacitor flashes...so i checked the ignition system for interference...and sure enough...unplug the tach wire and it goes away...why did this just happen like that? and as many suggestions to fixing it as possible would be great!
thanks!
