Nice find in new car
Put in a radio in my new Z this morning found, larger speaker wires all run. 2 Sets of good RCA's 2 Power wires from engine compartment to rear well with fuse and holder, and MB Quartz 6"x9" and MB Quartz in the front too, forget the size, they look like min 6x9's. Didnt check model numbers but they say "power handling 60-140watts" on the 6x9s
I was happy

I had a nice surprise when I bought my car. It didnt have a radio, but when I pulled the dash pad and the sail panels, the car had the top of line Polk audio 6x9's and top of the line series polk audio 4x6's. $500 worth of speakers (back in '99 when I bought the car). I added an Eclipse cd-player and the speakers still sound great!
On a different note, (no pun intended), my truck was broken into last Saturday between the hours of 10am and noon at a comedy club where I was taking the morning class of defensive driving. Some lowlife stole my Sony mx-EDI MP3player with LCD, an MTX 50x4 amp, cut the Alarm brain out and stole other personal belongings! I hate claiming something on my insurance for crap that isn't my fault!
Anyways, I dont keep any heavy stereo stuff in the car. I try to keep the car as lite as I can.
