hey, im getting a pair of jl 12w3 v2 d4's, (they are rated at 300 watts rms each). which amp, besides for the jl 500/1 would you recommend to power these subs at a good price and will do the job correctly. anybody recommend anything thats not as expensive as the 500/1 but will do just about the same?

 

fosgate, kicker, or jbl. also, if youre really on a budget, pioneer, kenwood, or ample. dont go too cheap, otherwise your getting into that unspeakable zone. good luck.
