Looks good. Funny how that is your "cheapest" system. What did you have in the past? what is the box made of?

Awesome! I never thought of saving weight by using styrofoam like that. Totally off topic.. Do those kumho's have much sidwall flex? Thinking about getting some.

Just to let you know that is not styrofoam it HDF 3/4".

 

the box is 3/4" HDF don't ask where i got it was a pain in th a$$ to find. the box is coated with Fleck Stone. it's a paint that has texture it matches the carpet pretty good. the picture doesn't show it that good. I used to run a Clarion DRX9575r head unit, 3- xtant 1001dx, 3- JL 10W6 in a custom box i made for the camaro, a PG 30 band EQ, a audio art 50HC for the front and rear componants, 180Amp alternator, and some other stuff but that was the meat and potato's. Most of my knowledge is in high end equipment. thanks for your input.

Man I would have loved to have heard that system. My cousin has 2 JL 12W0s being pushed by a JL 500/1 amp. It makes the freakin hair on my face vibrate. I LOVE JL stuff. I have yet to hear Kicker L7s but I hear they too pound like a *****.
