A Few ?s
1. I recently put a JVC cd changer in my car. I know that my Pioneer 6400 has changer control, can i use it, or is it only with pioneer changers?
2. Another about the changer. I just wired it into the fuse block, but it doesnt keep any power when the car is off for memory. where should i wire it into? the radio is out of the question because its got some crazy **** goin with the wiring where it doesnt use the fuse in the block, but has its own inline fuse, and i dont really wanna pull apart everything again.
3. Is there any way I can test my alternator to see what the output is? It was obviously replaced since its dirtiness doesnt match the rest, so I want to know if its of a higher amperage because I think the car had some crazy stereo stuff in it before because of the issue in the next question.
4. WTF is this connector for? I had some wires left over when I put my head unit in, wasnt sure what they were for, but I knew i had power, ground, and speakers so i just left it layin in there. When i put the changer in I found what it went to, I know it could be used for anything, but most likely, what would it be used for?

I'm holding the stock head unit from our cars in my hand and yes it does look like the power antenna connection from it. With an aftermarket deck they should have used those wires! As far as the changer....I have no idea....

1:No, Pioneers control Pioneers and JVCs control JVCs.
4:Looks like it could be the constant +12V supply. If it has an orange wire that’s what it is.

does the cd changer have a red and yellow wire for power ? if it does then put the red on into the ignition slot on the fuse block, and put the yellow one into the bat. slot on the fuse block and that will solve your memory problems, as for the plug, i looked for the wiring information and the antenna trigger is a pink wire, and the only dark blue wire is for the rear positive speaker. was there a light or a acessory that went through to the console or something it could have been for ?

i fixed the power problem. everything in the car is hooked up. the wire wasnt in the console, it went under the door sill and was just lying under the carpet under the back seat on the passenger side

what wire was it hooked up to on the pioneer harness ?
all i could think of would be a power for a pioneer changer, or possible a remote line, but it has a weirld end for a remote line

did the previous owner have power seats in it, and just wired it to the power on the stereo for a quick power connection ? instead of doing it the right way ?
