what sub?

I just got a MTX rt2200 amp and plan on going with one 10 in. sub. I listen to metal like pantera and metallica and was wondering if anyone else listened to the same music and how it sounds with a sub. Please post your set up and maybe a rec. for the sub. Thanks

That amp puts out 150rms I think, so you dont want to get a sub that needs 1000rms. How much $$ are you wanting to spend? If you listen to metal I would suggest a sub that is a little cleaner than louder. I love JL subs, they pound and are clean. You can get a JL 12w0 on ebay for $109 shipped

I would go with a 12 over a 10 just because I think they are the better subs. You get more low notes that most 10s cant reach. It makes the music that much better and louder.
And the JL 12W0 has a ratting of 125rms which would match up well with your amp.
