Is Mosfet a brand name? I found this and I wouldn't mind having it. http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/320

I've got an 82 Trans Am. Stock everything.

That Kenwood is a decent deck. I don't know how strongly you feal about Kenwood but personally I don't think they make good head units. Look into Alpine! I don't know if you have any Ultimate Electronics stores there (I used to work there) but they have really good prices for head units. Heck, the one thats in my car right now just went clearance! I payed a lil' over $200 for it and you can get it for $99. Awesome deck, works/sounds great!

I wanted to get an Alpine 7893, but I guess they stopped making them.

I checked e-bay and they had some good deals on the 7893 model, but the one fear I have of e-bay is if their is a defect, and I have to keep it.

Any store around Milwaukee has overpriced items, mainly sony stuff. So the web is the best way to buy.

I bought an Alpine 7892 Deck for $160 over at Circuit City's discount rack. It's worth checking out, you may be able to get that Deck you always wanted for cheaper than you expect.

I was offered a 7977 for 220, but I didn't take it because I don't have that much money right now. I've also seen them cheaper on e-bay.

The 78xx series got discontinued and replaced with the 98xx series, which is virtually the same, save for some minor changes, some of which make it easier to navigate mp3 discs. They gave the folder and search features dedicated buttons, instead of using F1, F2, etc...

The 98 series are still great decks, a friend of mine just out the 9811 in his car. great deck. I had a 7894 as well, also a great deck.

Right now ive got a CTA-1505 (controller) and an s624, and am toying with the idea of trading it up for a 9815...
