Quick question on wiring new cd deck

Quick question on wiring new cd deck
Just got a pioneer cd player. Im pretty glad since when I bought the car it had no radio or anything and now I can listen to my cd's 
Since there was no radio the previos owner must have hacked it out. Now there is just a big wiring mess with no factory harness. I
pretty much have figured out which wires go where except for one. The one I am trying to figure out is the 12 Volt battery wire. The two are stuck together and there colors are orange&orange/brown. Do I just go ahead and wire the pioneer yellow wire to the orange one? What do I do with the orange/brown one?
