Well im having a rough time figuring out the IROC right now mostly cuz i dont know my head from my @$$ when it comes to wiring. My car originally had the bose system in it but no longer has the amp or the head unit. it now has a kenwood 45x4 head unit. The speakers in the very back dont work. i know a bit on the bose but here comes the wierd part. i have hooked up a few 6x9s in the back and they work. and...one of the kickpanels work but the drivers side does not. can i rewire the driver side kick and put an aftermarket set into it. Can aftermarket 5.25s fit in these panals? SHould i bother with 4x6s if i can get he kicks to work(i have a pair of infinity kappas? Please boomin boy or anyone else with car audio experience please help. X-mas is only a few days away and i need to know what to get. Thanks

 

5.25s will not fit the BOSE kicks unless you mod the panels to accept them. I think the orig speaker is a 3.5" or 4". If your not planing on using an amp, I'd just use 4x6 dash and 6x9 rears. Good component sets require alot of clean amp power that decks can't put out.

 

Is'nt the Bose setup unusable with anything else?
