Suggestions for Wired Remote Head Units
Hey guys,
I have a 1973 nova that has been ravaged by car stereo theives one too many times. I have decided that, in order to conceal my stereo, I am going to put the head unit in the glove compartment. I am looking for suggestions for head units that have an available wired remote preferably with an lcd display. Keep in mind that I work at Best Buy and can get a sweet discount on the items that they stock. Post what you know.

im not too sure about the layout of a nova but you can make some sort of console in the middle of the two seats with a hinged cover that the cdplayer is mounted in. If that didnt make sense here's a link to my old car that i did it in
i dont think you need any sort of fancy HU with an LCD remote...if you want to mount it in the glove box...as you're driving the car just pop the glove box open and use a wireless remote (which most decks come with now) and your set.
the good thing about my setup was i could keep my eye on the deck through the rear view mirror so i dont take my eyes off the road for too long to look down at it
bad pic but you get the idea from the outline of the deck
