Im wondering if anyone has tried the spray that you can get at home depot. I forgot the name but you spray it on, theres two kinds, and it makes it not rattle so much...

Also Im wondering some of your reviews on 1000 watt max sony amp and 2 1200 max 12s. I have em and I think theyre good. But could always use some others opinion.

Just remembered what it was. "rebberized undercoating"

where on your car are you planning on using it? from my experiences it hasnt worked very well for sound deadening inside the car but if you put a few layers under the hood, firewall, and in the wheel wells it eliminates a lot of unwanted road and engine noise.

that was when i was driving a ford 3.8 litre so i didnt want to hear the engine

I dont care about engine noise. Id rather hear the engine when Im not blaring my music. Makes me proud I got such a loud car. LOL I just might use it on the wheel wells though. Sounds like a decent solution to my clanking sounds...Im also gonna use it inside the well where my subs are.

I am not a big fan of sony's
I had one and my buddy had two.
They both blew up under above average use
I personally wash my hands of them....but another friends sony has had no problems...
I think Sony is hit and miss

Well I havent had any problems with my sonys. Sure sony decks suck. And well the speakers arent all that great. But for at the time what I paid I couldnt find much else with the kind of handling mine had.(at retail stores anyway.)ebay might have been a different story but I dont buy off ebay. But my 12" sonys have a max of 1200. I think RMS wasnt too shabby either compared to competitors.(fosgate, mtx, etc.)..Also for what I listen to they sound just fine to me. I dont need my eardrums to bleed, Im not into comps either. Until my subs break. I can try to outwit the theory that sony sucks
