Sub choices
I already have an old round 12" solo that I am really happy with. I am looking into putting a sub in my daily also. I don't need anything earth shattering, even a 10" would work. It will be a sealed enclosure, I am not a big fan of ported boxes.
I picked up a PPI flat piston, but I think it's toast. That and I didn't realize it was 8 ohm until I hooked it up. I heard they are pretty good, but I very rarely see 4 ohm versions.
Any recomendations?

Kicker 10" (around 65 bucks) and 12" ($75) CVRs are really cheap now days.
Or like spartyon said a type r.
Main thing is to just shop around and beware some stores don't have warrantys through company but they will warranty through the storefront itself.
