Unless you live in a neighborhood where nobody is a scumbag Id steer away from that idea. To have it safe you would need either black limo tint all the way around your car.(possibly illegal) or some kind of un-breakable box. If they fail to take the box they could either take the whole car or trash it somehow. Let us know your ideas. Drawing maybe?

I bought a sub/amp combo just to tide me over until I got my real stuff, 8" Kicker, low end amp. I put the little box behind my drivers seat, so I could get the most outta it. But when I moved it to the rear it sounded twice as loud, and twice as clear.

I'd just toss the junk in the back

thanks for those pics ddn69! hah, but no, i know what the risks are, i already ahve subs on my deck and a full stereo , it sounds great, im runnin a power acoustic 1000 watt amp, 2 12"planet audio subs, sony 6X9's and the others are jensen and a sony head unit, you know the one where the face folds down. but i want more bass, meaning im gonna upgrade my highs, im also gonna put the kick panels in, with the 5 inch and tweeter, but ive seen that box in convertables, but im gonna do it in my car when i do my interior, so im looking for pics of it to get a better idea or, picture of it in my head, its gonna go over the hump in the back and have maybe 2 10's or 2 12's

I had one 8" sub in a dual ported box (one port on each side of the sub cone) and it pounded, powered by a 250 watt RMS @ 4ohm rockford amp. people swore it was 2 12's

camaros are great for putting a small sub down in that hatch space. the ports on mine were firing to either side of the car

cheers

Blake
