Getting power from the fuse box

Hey would it be hard to get constant power from the fuse box? This would be for interior neons and a switch would be hooked up.

not hard but you would probably be better off with running a wire from the battery.

x2

The fuse box isn't the best place to tap for power. It depends how big of neons you're getting, what gauge wiring you will need, but once ya know that much, I'd suggest tapping off the battery, MAKE SURE you have a fuse in there (fyi: Fuse is a safeguard. If you would have a problem with the wire, and it was catch fire/short, it would only reach the fuse, the fuse would blow, thus ending the circuit), go thru the firewall, to a relay switch, and then to the neons.

The neons are no longer then 2 ft, and right now they plug into the cigarette lighter. We would like a cleaner look, and have the power to turn it on and off with a switch.
