Help me choose a 1.5 din deck.

I'm getting ready to update my stereo system with a new cd player and speakes. This will consist of basically the stock system with no extra amps or subs, but just aftermarket front 4x6s and rear 6x9s. Which 1.5 din deck should I go with and why? Also, what are some good speakers to go with the unit?

http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/PIODEHP77DH looks pretty good for the money. You dont have too many choices with a 1.5 DIN HU though

you could also look into this one

as for speakers i would look for a brand that is well known for their quality such as infinity, kicker, cadence, JL, autotek, DEI, Orion, or eclipse. Since you will be running the speakers off of head unit power i would look into getting a speakers that have a very high sensitivity.

None of the 1.5s are worth the money in my opinion. You pay a premium price for features & technology that's very outdated. I think the appearance of these decks is also a poor match for most GM cars anyway, so even though it fits, it still doesn't look right.

I'd much rather flush a 1-din deck in the dash. You get more deck for the money, and in the long run I think it looks better too.

My opinion is that the 1.5 din fits and looks better. I'm getting a 1.5 din no matter what. So far I'm liking the pioneer and the alpine, but I've been on a few sites where they say the alpine is discontinued. Anybody know anything about this? I'm not looking for cheap, I just want the best thats out there in 1.5 din. What do you guys like?
