The cd player is the one with the eqalizer on it........but anyhow.......I plug it in the buttons light up but the display screen doesnt.....I know this unit has theftlock on it but the screen should at least say loc if its activated....I do have the info to unlock but that doesnt seem to work; hold 2&3.....am/fm call 1800 number..........If anyone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.....thanks

Alot of pontiac radios had bulb problems from 95 to 99. Take a flashlight and point it at the display to see if it is showing the "LOC" If so you can then at least enter yoru codes and get it working again. If not, the KJ is right, and it it f'ed. But if you do see the "LOC" the bulb costs around $10 and will require you to carefully remove the face of the radio, then you will see the bulb, just turn it out, and replace it with the new one. I am not 100% sure of the part # but I will look into it Monday at work for you, as alot of dealerships say it is not serviceable, as it really isn't.

Glad to help. Yeah the bulbs were common in those years. Jsut be gentle when removing the face so that you don't break any of the tabs.
