Power Range : 150/400 watts
Applications : Sealed / Vented
I am pretty sure the power range is 150-400 w rms, since the eD site recommends a 400wrms amp. That said, I like the JBL amps and amp trying to decide whether to get the 300.1 or 180.2 The 300.1 is $20 more at sounddomain. I like the idea of having a dedicated amp for the sub, however, having the option to power 6x9's eventually is a plus. Ohm load isn't too much of a consideration, since the sub can be wired for just about any situation. With the 180.2 I will get more power, the 300.1 has "power supply switching technology" however which is supposed to reduce the drain on the car's electrical system.

sounds like the 300.1 is a class D amp, which are more effecient. But its not a super powerful amp to begin with so i think your electrical system would be fine with a class a/b of that same powerOriginally posted by Damien00677
