Yes my friend has that exact model, and it is great. I think I would have gotten that if I had not got a Alpine cd/Mp3 player

i like it as far as looks and features go. The cheaper pioneers are excellent for not skipping and im sure the higher models are very good too. But if i were to replace my alpine with anything it would be an eclipse, or a denon (i think im dreaming on that one)

i sell premier and eclipse, if i were to buy a premier HU, that would be it, i like the features and the useability.

but i wont, because i have an Eclipse 8051 that just KICKS ***.

$450 from the stores, $300-$330 on ebay, brand new, never opened. that's where i got mine. $309

i have the 8500mp which is pretty much the same thing except you get a steering wheel remote with the premier. (there may be other small differences, i think the premier has the super tuner IIId while the 8500 has the super tuner III non-deluxe) ive had it since November and i love it! No Problems with it at all.

Thats why you saved money. I got my Alpine 7894. I love it...
I paid about that much for mine, shipped to HI 2-day. I would have gotten a pioneer if Ib had not gotten an alpine.

heh, i actually had the 7892 model (almost the same, just one step down) in the camaro i sold a few months back.....i had gotten kinda tired of it so i sold it with the car and tried out another brand
