ok so my lil sister's bf has a 91 z28 and a few of us r putting in a new stereo in it. it already has a pioneer HU and we r going to replace the 4x6's and 6x9's. when i searched i heard that pioneer speakers give good bass. so this is what we're looking at, and we need to keep it at a lower cost, like maybe $180 for the front and rear speakers.

front 4 x 6's

rear 6 x 9's
or
$99 6 x 9's
i really don't see a big diff, one has a higher peak power but they r the same RMS? but other than that does this look good?? o ya, btw, no sub yet that will be later...a few months or more later

 

thats a nice set up, im getting the same thing. The first set of 6x9s have better bass then the second.
