Hooking up two amps w/one lead

hi everyone this might be a really stupid wuestion but is there any way of hooking up two amps with just one power lead. can i hook them up in parallel. they are only a 75watt rms and a 100 watt rms. the wire that i have going to them is 10 guage and should handle it but i'm not sure if there will be enough amps to run both.

thanks,
theo

go get a power distrobution block from an audio store. Takes the single wire and gives you a place to run out 2 more from it. 10 guage should be fine for that. Also make sure the fuse near your battery is big enough for the amps of power the 2 amplifiers will need. Also, run seperate ground wires for each amp.

thats more than enough. You can check how many amps the amplifiers pull by looking it up on their website/packaging, or looking at the fuse on the amp. For example mine have 25amp fuses in the amplifier, so if I have 2 amps, I need a 50 near the battery.

O.K. thanks for the help so far everyone. i now have a power distribution block with seperate fuse to each output lead. now all i need to do is find a connector and i cant find it anywhere. we are going to use preamps on one of the amps and high inputs on the other. the only thing is that we cant find a 6pin connector for the second amp. i have tried the car parts stores, radio "hut" and the local harware sotres. does anyone know where else i might look to fin one.

again thanks alot,
theo
