OK, right now I have the Pioneer DEH-47DH head unit and Pioneer speakers in the stock locations. I am mostly unhappy with the head unit. I have been looking at the Clarion Pro Audio DXZ745MP head unit. I had a smiliar Pioneer in my Stratus, when it finally **** the bed I got an Alpine to replace it. Similar speaker situation. The Alpine sounded soooooo much better. Does anyone have any thoughts on the Clarion unit? What are the best speakers to put in the stock locations?

For the 6x9's look into getting a pair of Infinity Reference 9603i speakers. They are at a good price on e-bay and just sound incredible with the right head unit or amp. So look into that.
